Creation

Last night my friend Joe and I created the best milkshake I've ever had: A Toasted Marshmallow Milkshake. Joe had it at the Good Stuff Eatery in Washington, D.C.  It's so easy to make and I promise you will not be disappointed

Toasted Marshmallow Milkshake: Serves 4

1/2 bag of small marshmallows
2 c. milk
1 Tbsp of sour cream
1 c. vanilla ice cream

Grease a baking pan, and spread a layer of marshmallows.  Put in oven and set to broil, until they are charred (2 to 3 minutes).  Take out to cool.

In a blender, pour in milk, sour cream, ice cream, and charred marshmallows. Mix for 5 minutes.  Pour in large glass and serve!  You can top the shake with more marshmallows, but I thought that was overkill.

Joe and I also came up with the idea of putting in a little chocolate sryup and topping with graham crackers...YUM.

Fun Fact:  This recipe was created by chef Spike Mendelsohn from Good Stuff Eatery in celebration of President Obama's inauguration!
